Interview with google

Two days ago i received a call from google about a post in Google hyderabad for which i applied a long time ago. I was told that i would get a mail regarding the post and some useful links regarding the job. Also a telephonic interview was fixed for 25th of August 2011. After that i was waiting for the email from google which i didn't receive that day as told. I checked my inbox and spam folder the next morning for the mail but still there was no mail. On the day of the interview, i got a call from google and a HR took my interview. After the interview which from my point of view went awful, i asked him about the mail which i was supposed to get. He told me to check my inbox once again and i did but still couldn't find the mail. He told me check the spam folder which i did and found the mail was there from last night. The mail contained a lot of useful links which could have helped me in my interview but what can we say about this.

Now tell me how does the google spam filter work. It blocks email from google and doesn't block the unwanted spam....this is really a good joke. This is something i will remember about google for sure :P.

Planning always fails.....

I don't think things ever go according to the plans. Plans are a waste of time.

Everytime i make a plan, it fails. It has always happened with me. When i planned about getting into a good college like the IIT's or NIT's, i ended up at KIIT. When i planned about getting the girl i liked, it failed. When i tried to start my own website(still in progess since one year), i planned a lot about it and wasted around 12000 bucks ....still it's not complete and all my money is gone. When i planned on not siiting for TCS recruitments, i had to sit(and i got placed) for it. Then i expected a lot from accenture(package, repo and the HR's....all were bad) but there was nothing. Finally planned for siiting SAP recruitments and they didn't even consider an IT student(all the placed students were from CS though my interview was gr8).

So i finally decided not to plan and go with the flow. Lets see how my life goes on from here.......
